Kitchen Installation

This is a rough guide to the way I go about it:

I come and look at your existing kitchen, measure the room up and suggest the best layout for the new kitchen, given any constraints you may wish to include.

I then work out a price for installation broken down into individual elements. Hopefully you accept this price.

I can then supply you a sketch plan with appropriate measurements which you take to a kitchen supplier, who comes up with a suitable design and list of units, worktops and accessories.

I go through their list with you at your home and check that everything is correct, including the measurements from the plan.

Once the list & plan are confirmed, You go ahead and order the units, etc and I sort out a date with you to commence the work, provided that the units, etc arrive on time.

On satisfactory completion of the work, or sometimes, certain elements of the work, you pay me the agreed amount, unless other arrangements have been made beforehand.

A few points worth noting:

I always carry out butted and scribed worktop joints, like you will see in the showrooms, Not with the diy metal or plastic jointing strips. The joints will be connected with proper worktop clamping bolts and biscuit joints.

I also do tiling work to the walls and floor if required, see tiling page

All waste materials generated by myself will be removed from site unless you wish to dispose of them yourself to reduce costs.

All you have to do then is just fill up the cupboards and enjoy your new kitchen!
